  1. Stir the peanut butter smooth with half the water first.
  2. Work in the remaining ingredients and add enough water until the sauce slowly runs off the spoon.
  3. For warm dishes, heat only gently.

Substitutions

Replace peanut butter 1:1 with tahini or sunflower seed butter. Replace soy sauce with 30 ml water plus 1/2 tsp salt; you'll lose a bit of depth. Honey can be replaced with sugar or maple syrup.

Storage
