Why this works
The breakfast pizza that works at any time of day. Crispy bacon, thinly sliced ham, a cracked egg in the center, fresh chives.
Ingredients
- Pizza dough250g
- Cream (heavy)80ml
- Mozzarella100g
- Cooked ham (thin sliced)80g
- Smoked bacon (lardons)60g
- Eggs2 large
- Fresh chives1 tbsp
- Black peppergenerous
Method
- Preheat oven to 260°C. Crisp bacon in a pan.
- Stretch dough. Spread cream instead of tomato. Add mozzarella.
- Arrange ham and bacon. Create two small wells in the toppings.
- Bake 8 minutes. Crack one egg into each well. Return to oven 4–5 more minutes.
- Egg yolks should be just set. Finish with chives and pepper.
