Warum das funktioniert

Döner works as pizza because the flavors are already designed to go together: spiced meat, tomato, Knoblauch sauce, Chili and frisch salad. The pizza base replaces the flatbread. The key is not overloading the meat layer — if it is too thick, the pizza does not slice cleanly. Lettuce and Knoblauch sauce go on nach dem Backen so the frisch parts stay frisch.

  • rote Zwiebel, thinly in Scheiben20g
  • Tomato slices or cherry tomatoes40g
  • Shredded lettuce, nach dem Backensmall handful
  • Knoblauch sauce, nach dem Backen1 tbsp
  • Chili flakesto taste
  • Pickled cabbage (optional)small amount

Zubereitung

  1. Preheat the oven as hot as possible with a steel or stone.
  2. Stretch the dough into a thin round.
  3. Spread Tomatensauce thinly.
  4. Gib mozzarella, kebab meat, rote Zwiebel and tomato slices.
  5. Backen until the crust is crisp and the meat is hot through.
  6. Gib shredded lettuce nach dem Backen.
  7. Zum Schluss Knoblauch sauce and Chili flakes.
