Why this works
Thin, crispy flatbread topped with spiced minced lamb, peppers, tomatoes, and parsley. A Turkish street food masterpiece.
Ingredients
- Pizza dough (thin)200g
- Minced lamb200g
- Tomato (finely diced)2
- Red pepper (finely diced)1
- Onion (finely diced)1
- Garlic (minced)3 cloves
- Cumin1 tsp
- Paprika1 tsp
- Cayenne¼ tsp
- Fresh parsleylarge handful
- Lemon1
Method
- Mix lamb with tomato, pepper, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne. It should be a paste.
- Preheat oven to 280°C.
- Roll dough very thin (2–3mm). Spread lamb mixture to edges.
- Bake 8–10 minutes until edges crisp and lamb cooks.
- Finish with fresh parsley, a squeeze of lemon. Roll up and eat like a wrap.
